P�sničky / Songs (2010) / Jarom�r Vogel [MP3 320]

A compilation of songs composed by Jarom�r Vogel. One of the highlights are songs by the deceased Jana Robbov� (1951-1996), "Mus�m ti to ř�kat", "Když" and "Vrabč�k", which were recorded in 1971. Robbov� was one of the most vivid Czech singers in history, therefore nicknamed Sopka (Volcano) because of her unusual temper, and her performances on stage, which where described like a "comet falling on earth". A remake of the first track was recorded in the 90s and performed by Blanka Šrůmov�.
Other notable recordings include Věra Špinarov�’s "Pojď k n�m" and "Do oč�" from the Czech fairytale movie "Anička s l�skov�mi oř�šky" as well as other songs from films, musicals and original inspirations in different styles and moods, like jazz, blues, rock, pop, folk music, inspired by the 60’s. Some songs are based on instrumental compositions from earlier albums.
