Overpowered Rinoa

Rinoa’s angel wing limit break is ridiculous. You can beat Omega weapon in about five minutes with it if you have high speed and haste cast on her and only meteor as her attack magic in her inventory.

Seriously is it me or does this make every other attack in the game look like flies?

Omega couldn’t touch her.

EDIT: And I was only level 60-something with her too. Mag+1 while leveling up and Hp 80%… so its not even that hard to power her up like that

I didn’t learn of the Angel Wing exploit until last year. :O IMO, getting Rinoa’s levels up to 255 was like, the most fun part of using the Angel Wing trick. It’s just another way crazy gamers like us can pour hours of our lives into getting a "perfect" game for no real benefit.

Lion Heart is definitely not the easiest way to defeat any boss…it’s too random. (It’s pretty sweet though, when you land the death-blow on Ultimecia w/ it.)

Lionheart will come out only once by random, its not that likely. Shot has limited ammo/time limit. Duel isa pain in the ass. With Angel Wing you can just leave her there at max health doing something like 130k damage each turn and getting about five turns in before anything else.

Wow Cloukyo, you discovered FFVIII is extremely easy to beat, optional bosses included. Well done. A cure for cancer should be a piece of piss for you.

Omega Weapon is quite powerful and even with shot and lionheart he can be a bitch. Lots of people admit they used the end or immortality to beat him. The fact that you can leave rinoa there, not do ANYTHING, and he’s defeated in five minutes AND it doesn’t take that much to power her up to that state (cos her magic stats go through the roof if you’re in angel wing) is pretty crzy…

So, in other words, the battle system is broken? Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Personally, I happen to know that Rinoa isn’t useless in battle. I still don’t like using her.

Some people say that Rinoa is useless because they have not bothered to unlock Rinoa’s other abilities. They think all she does is swing her dog at the enemy. And also, another reason why they say Rinoa is useless is because of Squall’s Lionheart attack. They tend to use the stronger characters than the other ones.
