I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but just a heads up to say the forthcoming blu-ray release of ‘Our Man Flint’ (James Coburn, 1966), has an isolated score track listed as part of its special features. I grew up watching this film (like I did with with the Bond films) and it still remains my most favourite non-Bond spy flick out of them all (mostly in part due to the highly memorable theme and score). Anyway, I for one am delighted they’re doing this and can’t wait to get a copy to rip and play around with!
Finally, more details here:

Twilight Time release… just hope it isn’t a total f*ck-up like the so called isolated score track they released on Enemy Mine.

If they did it with that, then it’s probably the case with this also sadly. I remember when two special DVD editions of 1960s Terence Fisher horror flicks ‘Island of Terror’ and ‘Night of the Big Heat’ came out, they were supposed have been digitally restored, but instead looked far worse than my VHS off TV copies of both recorded back in the 1980s!

Don’t know if you’ve had a chance to listen to that track on that Enemy Mine BluRay? Someone shared the entire thing and i re-upped that. All of it had SFX and even some Drakh speech… If i had ordered a BluRay and had it sent across half of the world just because i wanted it for the isolated score and THAT is what i would have received… would have blown my top off and i would have sent it back immediately demanding a refund. (that’s what i meant by a f*ck-up 😉 )

I’ve only got ‘Enemy Mine’ on DVD but do like the film (not enough to want the score though). Anyway, that’s against the trade descriptions act in this country if a product is stated to contain something it doesn’t and people purchase it on the strength of that.
