OMG, I’M STUK!!1

I’m on the second disk of FFVIII, and i know this is stupid, but i’m stuck on an island

Let me explain

i took Balamb Garden to the Chocobo Garden (or whatever it is called) and i took a chocobo to the place where Odin is, i finished with Odin’s challenge, and now i’m stuck without a way to get to the Garden

SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!1

if you can’t get to the chocobo forest south of centra ruins i hope youo have a back up file. Or maybe someone else can help you=)

Please elaborate are you on the same continent as the Garden? or did you cross a tedious little stip of land. I cannot help if I do not know

i crossed land, i am on the island where Odin is, but balamb is by the closest chocobo place

So you aren’t on the same continent then around Odin’s place (centra ruins) is another chocobo forest, I can’t pin point it for you but when you find the forest cross that thin strip of land back to where you landed the Garden. But before you do that hit select two or three times to see the theworld map with a blinking red light that would be the garden if you are on the same continent just run to it. If all else fails reset unless you saved, sorry I couldn’t be more help. 🙁

i did that, i’ve been stuck on this island, for two hours of game time
but i’ve got a lot of levels (and shiva and Ifrit are at level 100

but would it be possible to get to tht chocobo forest (the one by centra ruins) by walking, or is it in the ocean

OK just follow the map nort and take the chocobo back south until you see the garden.

isn’t it odd how much freedom FFVIII gives you, but in IX it takes forever to get like ANY freedom

yeah, my game froze though just as soon as we picked our members in ff9

I think it happens to everybody they’re were too many places that chcobos made accessable but once you got off you coldn’t get back w/o a chocobo… was this their intention?

Agent’s right. I’m sure the game designers would have figured out that people might wander off with chocobos and get themselves stuck, so they probably just didn’t give chocobo acess to any landmasses without a chocobo forest.

And Agent is VERY right about the music.

when ur in balamb, on the second disc, and u have to beat fujin and raijin, how did u do it, cuz i’m stuck

Strong attacks, draw the Pandemona GF, and Limit Breaks.

To beat Raijin just hit him with all you got fuijin and raijin put two girls in your party and squall of course and give hit the with limit breaks. If your girls are weak you can train by talking/distracting to the guard the guard while Zell’s bro. talks to the owner of the car rental place.

well, zell is like lvl 10, so tht was the main prob

level up then, maybe?
why is he so ridicilously weak at that point in the game anyway?

really, zell was at least 28 in my game

i just don’t like using him, i’m not good with his limit break

and i’ve just been playing to the GF’s strength’s (AKA, Rinoa and Quistis)
