for the remake im pretty positive its gonna have like all chorus stuff like in the newer ff games in the series are you going to enjoy that or miss the old midi sounds? i personally like both..

The midi’s are classic, but when they use the real music (.mp3s, .wavs, etc.) it adds some kind of effect to the game that makes it seem better… I.E. Quoted off the back of the game case on FFVIII: "Realistic, detailed characters and background graphics enhanced by a breath taking musical score…"

Not really sure. Midis are OK, but I do like MP3’s. Thing is, are the re-releases gona be released outside of Japan? I’ve heard there may only be a japanise release for the FFVII-IX re-releases. :eye:

If they do change the music, I hope they intermix the new sound with the old, I would miss the old sound, but the new sound is good too. I voted for them both.

I loved the original music in ff7 the best!

I like the original midis. They should keep them, and save the big orchestrated stuff for FFX1 and beyond. They shouldn’t mess too much with a good thing.

Off-topic, but where can I find out more about this remake and is it going to be released for PC?

Oh, and MIDIS rock.

Well, i’m not sure about those remakes, but the midis on FF7 are the best. They should keep the same ones and/or make remixes of them.
