Odin fails to hit a Foulander! !!SIDE QUEST SPOILER ALERT!!

I was recently playing through my FF7, taking care of the side mission for Yuffie, and all the extra stuff you can grab.. Dragoon Lance, HP Absorb, etc. This happened right after fighting to save the girls on the mountain with the Turks and Yuffie giving you back all the materia. Well right after that Cloud walks out on Yuffie as she’s talking and next screen your on the map. So to get Dragoon Lance and HP Absorb you gotta go back in town, grab the Absorb from the cat house and then go to the mountains and grab the Lance from the cave which is why I went back up the mountain. At any rate, when I got up there and was making my way around to getting the Lance a battle ensued and in it a Foulander and party of 4 were my opponents. Just for shits and giggles and to just see the Odin summon cause its been a long time for me I summoned Odin. Odin’s vid plays through, and the screen shows who gets killed, to my surprise I see that Odin completely misses hitting the Foulander! So I stopped dead, shocked, then ran around the mountain and got into another battle that had two Foulanders as my enemies, and it did it again. One dies, the other he completely misses all together. I shot photos off my phone of it but it keeps on telling me on here that the pics are too big to post. I’ll try resizing them smaller and trying again later when I ain’t pressed for time.

That’s the drawback of Odin (and something that has been a part of that summon throughout the series) – Zantesuken (‘Steel-bladed Sword’) has a high chance of missing instead of instantly killing all enemies, although Gungnir (‘Gunge Lance’) should do normal damage without missing.

But it’s random which attack is used, so there isn’t really much you can do about it.

Wow really? I never remember ever seeing him miss a target when I was playing before. I never caught it till now happening. Lmfao.

Odin Quest seems to be another attempt by Chinese developers who are determined to flood the gaming market with identical titles. And it sucks.If you play Wargaming.net’s world of tanks, you must be familiar with its latest online mmo game world of warplanes (http://www.dotmmo.com/world-of-warplanes-2302.html) which takes on plane as its theme.

uum REallity13 kinda seems like they might be a bot…..with teh random nonsense post, almost as if all they seen was the word odin.

Meh, I wasn’t too sure if it was a bot or not – it’s other posts looked legitimate. Doesn’t matter in any event.
