odd little bug

I was on the Bikanel Island doing the cactaur side quest, i finished a battle near the southern exit of the screen with the Cactaur Valley on it and when the battle finished the camera zoomed over the entire map for a good few seconds before finally focusing on Tidus. like, the ENTIRE map!

anyone else had this?

I always equip armor with No Encounters on it when I do that sidequest. I have heard about another glitch in that area as well.

i had to get the monsters for the arena anyway so i didn’t bother with No Encounters.

Good idea, but it could be that area that’s glitched. I’ve also heard that when you go for all the ‘Stop and Go’ cactaurs in one sitting that one can glitch on you. Apparently all you have to do is leave the area and come back.

Never happened to me though, but that area may be glitched? Seems people would’ve posted it before now if it was always occuring. (guess you’re just lucky :))
