I was browsing music on Amazon tonight and was pleasantly surprised to discover that Two Steps From Hell has released trailer music for commercial consumption (http://www.amazon.com/Invincible/dp/B003MOHX8S/ref=reg_hu-rd_add_1_dp_T2). I’m planning to purchase said album (it appears to be MP3 only, no physical disc) later this month, because I think such a project deserves support.

Is this the slow beginning of a new trend — could we expect to see commercial releases from labels like Director’s Cuts or 615 Music — or is this a one off? I hope this proves successful, because there are a lot of good pieces of trailer music that I’d love to be able to purchase.
