A Czech musical film, directed by Zdeněk Podskalsk�, under production by the famous Barrandov Studios. The music was composed by popular songwriter Karel Svoboda with lyrics by George Štaidl. Vocalists include Waldemar Matuška and Helena Vondr�čkov�. On August 22, 2013, the film celebrated its 40th anniversary at the castle yard of Karlštejne with an open air concert, performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
