No Hulk or Black Widow Standalone Movies

Kevin Feige of Marvel said there will be NO standalone Hulk or Black Widow films. I’m not surprised about the Hulk. While he’s a favorite, he’s better as a supporting character than a star. He’s had two films and they did OK but didn’t generate the kind of numbers Marvel has come to expect. (Personally to make a Hulk movie work you’d have to go to an R rating for the violence. He needs to be treated as the force of nature that he is and that means destruction of property and lives.)

Now Black Widow could easily support her own film. Too bad. But maybe this will get us a live action Ghost in the Shell with Johansson as Motoko Kusanagi.
