The CD edition of "Mario Kart 8" not only does it feature the awesome BGMs of the game but they’re also slightly changed which makes them all the more awesome to listen to! Bought it from the UK Club Nintendo and I’m very pleased with it as I’ve always wanted to own a Mario Kart CD soundtrack and this is kind of "Best of Mario Kart". 🙂

How are you supposed to access the file?

I used 7zip to compress the files but thought it’d work also with other compressing apps such as WinRAR, Zip and whatnot.

To add onto my previous question, I meant the track titles especially. i.e. Does it use the PAL localised names like "Toad Harbour" and "Melody Motorway".

Yes! In the American version, it is called Toad Harbor and Music Park!

Just FYI, CD 1 Track 11: Dolphin Shoals (On Dry Land) has a skip on the 1 minute mark.
