Newest Lightning Returns: FFXIII Music (8 songs)

So they updated the LR: FFXIII website with a ton of new music. I ripped and uploaded them all for everyone. One thing of note: I did not alter the files from the website rip AT ALL, so they are still in .ogg (SEs format of choice). My downloader changed the filenames but other than that they are exactly as they were on the website. Since there is no distinguishable difference in the titles the only way for me to point one out is by listing the track time. Listen to the one that is 6:15…..manly tears were shed for this one. It is just STUNNINGLY beautiful.

From what I gather from the website filenames…we have the music for:

The Ark
Luxerion
Yusaan
Dead Dunes
One of the boss themes
Crimson Blitz (Battle Theme Version)

The others aren’t identifiable. These are just guesses too, as the file that im guessing was dead dunes was titled BGM_Dead_02. Let me know what you think, ESPECIALLY of the one that is 6:15…..

Could you provide some kind of tracklist? Perhaps combine the duration with the original file name if available. Something like: 1:38 = crimson blitz battle theme

Here is a link I made using the filenames off of the website rips plus I added in the pre soundtrack tracks. Based on those filenames, and other data from trailers or information given I have basically finished the tags on these. All are converted to mp3. I’ve always used sendspace in the past because I have a paid subscription to it and I never really thought to use anything else but for sharing to the masses mega seems MUCH better.

I CANNOT BELIEVE how gorgeous "Luxerion – Morning" is. That has to be one of the most beautiful things from the FF13 trilogy. I labeled it as Hamauzu because I heard he was in charge of the Luxerion music but either way, whoever did it is a genius.

I received confirmation from Square Enix France via Facebook that the two Luxerion tracks are indeed composed by Hamauzu 🙂

Even if the FFXIII games are not for everyone, at least in my opinion they are a huge achievement as far as the music goes.
