I just heard from my dad that i might be getting an Xbox 360 this weekend, and even though i had one on layaway, i`ll use that money to get my first game for it, but i`m not sure which is a good game to get for it even though i am leaning towards getting Dead Rising.

If you haven’t already got it on the PC, I strongly suggest Oblivion; much RPG goodness to be had. I’ve got about 72 hours playtime on it (which is pretty good compared to most FF and KH playtimes, which run 30-40 hours).

Dead Rising is also neat, but is the sort of thing that could get boring after a month or so.

Avoid Perfect Dark Zero at ALL COSTS.

There is Blue Dragon comming out too. If you like 1st person shooting, u can take a look at Halo series and CoD:3 (it isnt out yet).

To be fair, I rush through most FF games because I find that the gameplay isn’t really that compelling (level 40+ pretty much consists of hitting the X button on the PlayStation, or the B button on whatever Ninty system you’re playing).

Oblivion’s storyline is pretty lacking in comparison, but it’s a western RPG which means it’s more of a virtual world than a virtual storybook. On the Xbox 360 version there’s plenty of stuff to do (including extra downloadable content for a couple of bucks apiece), and on the PC version there’s heaps of user created content.

Still, unless you bought your computer in the last year, the X360 version is the way to go.

I agree with Raidenex, Oblivion is the way to go.

But if you are not looking for a large commitment like that, Saints Row.

Haha.
