Actually the music data is stored on the optical game disc so it is very well possible.

Say, Piplup, how do you know for sure that it is? =O Have you been told that or is this something you discovered yourself? Just wondering.

So, either it’s gonna be like the Wii, which can be easily ripped, or the 3DS, which can’t.

But one thing:

This console’s only a day old and IDK if it’s going to use BRSTM or something else. I know some of the tracks could be gotten right away because they’re reused (a third time).

It’s common sense. Why would the music be stored on the console itself that would be a total waste of data space and not to mention how many games will be in the wii u library total that would be ridiculous. If all the music was stored on the console there would be no memory for the console to even work. So they’re obviously on the game disc. What format I do not know but I can just say the music is not on the console.

I’m wondering how much of this is actually new material, and not just NSMB/NSMBW rehashes.

Probably a lot of re-hashes, to match the re-hashed level settings, but still worth a listen I think, everyone loves Mario!

game discs are 25gbs with only layer. Think about Smash 4 as it will most likely be triple layered!

Ripping isn’t possible now, and probably (unfortunately) might not ever will.

There has gotta be someway of ripping this games music off the wii u disc, how is it possible people have some of the songs already uploaded on youtube anyway? Master recorders i guess lol. :p
