Reports have it that ever since the latest firmware upgrade, 3.00, consoles have been "acting badly." Sony is working to fix the program and provide a necessary update.

Haven’t had any issues with it so far. However, I’m not too fond of the oversized font they use now. 😛

Yeah, something about some controller problems I heard about this a few days ago… but it hasn’t given me any problems?

Any update on when the hell this update is coming out? Last night my controller stopped working for a while.

I is not pleased.

I guess the only problem I’ve had is connecting my controller to the computer to recharge, I have to connect it to the ps3 by USB for it to work again.

I did have it charging in my comp before I used it last night. But it worked for maybe an hour before stopping.

Weird.

Yeah, I had to leave my controller connected to the ps3 for a few minutes.

Stop living in the past, you guys. (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/09/ps3-firmware-update-v3-01-now-available/)

In your XMB you have to go to Settings http://fp.scea.com/Content/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3/img/icns/icn_settings.gif> System Update> Select via Internet.

The update will be there. :p

Why didn’t we get a usual notification about it?

Supossedly it’s "optional".

Alright, got it. Here’s hoping for smooth sailing.

Oh wait, lemme guess, it’s optional for Slim owners because they don’t need it? If so, I smell civil war :p
