There’s no need even going through what exactly was ripped off as any person who has seen Twin Peak can instantly tell. Ya know, at first when I heard about this I thought "it’s about time Twin Peaks directly inspired a game". But then again, once I actually saw the trailer not only does it look terrible but graphically it’s on par with a mediocre PS2 game.

Now look at Alan Wake (http://www.alanwake.com/screenshots.html). There’s a game that’s really inspired by Twin Peaks but looks like it doesn’t cross the line like Rainy woods does.

i feel you man. i know how it is when a love gets raped by ammateurs who can’t come up with anything else so they steal an already awesome story and then butcher it. i never understood these type of games. maybe cause i haven’t really played one completely. but these games always seem to have shit gfx. i don’t even know how silent hill ever got popular. Wow, that is pretty bad. I mean, sure, Twin Peaks might have had its moments, in the second season, but at least it was good weirdness. This looks like it’s trying too hard to toe the line and be something that it’s obviously not. It stole the style, stole some general design work, and now it looks like it’s trying to go in a direction Twin Peaks doesn’t really work for going in.

Well, that’s my opinion of it, anyway. D:

…Incidentally, a game done right that was based on Twin Peaks would be awesome, albeit strange, given the way the show’s set up and stuff.
