Need help with a photo.

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a album cover I was making. I can’t clean the photo completely, because my screen isn’t as bright as flat screens & laptop monitors, so it doesn’t show.

I’ve noticed that off of many of these vgm sites I’ve joined. (Probably because I joined late into this, or just creativity in people is fading? Whatever.) I was trying to make an rpg (old style like ff type), and was looking for character designers to critique, and try out different character styles.
