Need help to find out which game this sound clip is from

Hi my fellow VG music aficionados,

A few days ago I stumbled over this snippet of a video game tune:

That’s all I got. It sounds so familiar but I can’t put my finger on it. It feels like an obscure game I played for a very brief time in my childhood but I don’t remember anything about it. It’s driving me crazy though so I hope someone here knows what it is.

All I can say is that it’s using that very unique OCEAN / CODEMASTERS / INFOGRAMES / CAMERICA sound engine which isn’t really helping since that engine sounds almost the same on NES, Genesis etc.

Thanks for any tips that might help me find out where that tune is from!

It probably sounds familiar to you because half the tune is "Somewhere over the rainbow". I’m not sure if this is from a Wizard of Oz game or not, but it sounds like it could be….

Nope that’s not it, but I found the answer myself. It’s from the game Rainbow Islands – The Story of Bubble Bobble 2.
