Alright, so i’ve recently decrypted an iso of Crash of the Titans and went on to extract out everything in the sound.rcf file. The problem is that everything is in .rsd, and I can’t find anything that will convert it to the assumed original state of ogg vorbis.

Can anyone please give some pointers?

Hmm this is similiar with scarface the world is yours, Try to use a bruteforce extractor program like dragon unpacker and nova extractor. Mostly likely your gonna get untagged oggs with no tracknames. I would suggest going to the xentax forums.

try using winamp with the in_cube plugin which can be found here:

http://www.hcs64.com/files/in_cube035.zip

play each track(each .rsd file) using the nullsoft disk writer plugin as winamp’s output to convert the track to .wav and then you can convert it to .ogg using any converting program that supports it

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll look into those.

That was the first thing I tried and opening any of the RSD files screws up Winamp royally.

I looked at it in a hex editor and this is what i got.

RSD6RADP………}..
****d:\depot\bld1\stable\production\in_game_art\so und\sounds\
music\crash_idea78b_explore.wav

Its a wav file encrypted in rsd header. i don’t think the scarface extractor will work with that because scarface does ogg, this is wav. damn this looks crap
