strangely that a thing I so detest
the pathway to my means of comfort
sleep exists to ebb away
the word which haunts me in the waking world
rejection?
no, not quite
that would be easy
the clarity of black and white
can not shine through the haze of grey
which threatens to smother my
happiness
is juxtaposed
with this self created disbelief
and the dreams, however awful
the remedy to being torn apart
