My Poetry Corner of the World.

I’m not good at poetry but this is the only way I can vent anything out. Here’s my first one ever..

Left Out

You leave me out of your activities
as if I’m nothing but invisible.
I’m sick and tired of sitting on the other side,
watching in from the window.
When it is just you and me,
all we talk about is nothing.
But that’s okay ’cause I don’t care,
that’s the reason why I’m here.

I’m sick and tired of watching you two,
hog all the fun and glory,
while all I can do is smile and knod
and continue to go on writing.
You’re too blind to notice what I’m going through,
but that is something you can’t help
because all you do is sit and stare
at those drawings you two draw and share.

My anger will keep on rising
as long as you two just ignore.
So I suggest you two include me
so I won’t feel left out no more.

Good stuff Ann. Good strong emotional stuff. Keep it up, my friend. Write your feelings onto paper is the strongest way of conveying things with words.
