My Game

-using rm2k3
I’m working on this new game called "First Came Dreams",
I made one Hero
C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\rpg2003\RTP\FaceSet
He is a Dream Ruler and there will be other dream rulers.In cartoon pokemon there are many pokemon trainers and they all want to be best, that is how is going to be like in this game, all dream rulers want to be best.
I have one problem I keep getting this message when I attack someone: "???? 2003Strike ??????"
Then I must press OK and the game closes. Does anyone have solution?!?

And it sounds like your problem is caused because you’re missing a file or two…did you get the program through a P2P application? If so, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re missing files..but if you bought it..I’m puzzled.

I have a few complete RPGs i’ve made if anyone wants them. *cough* I PUT LIKE 19 MONTHS OF MY LIFE IN THIS AND I WANT SOME CREDIT *cough* Anywho… I think its better to make a humorus RPG first to get the hang of it, because if you try to make a serious one and you don’t really know how to work RPG Maker then its gonna turn out really pathetic… But yeah… I’ve got quite a few RPGs with it… Its purty fun!

You can make rpgs with a program called RPG Maker. You can download RPG Maker 95 and 2000 here (http://www.free-software-downloads.org/freeware-games/rpg.htm)- I don’t know where you can download RPG Maker 2003 though. There are all sorts of sites that let you download sprites and such to use too.

It’s a lot of fun- I’ve never actually worked on a full game though. I more or less just play around with it, making scenes and such.

I have RPG Maker 2003, but got it off of emule… If I can find a link i’ll post it… RPG Maker is really fun to use.

Rm2k3 is a good program, however, Rm2k has a lot more resources on the Internet so I still use that instead. Though the fighting system is better in the 2003 version, unless of course you make your own then it doesn’t matter. Funnily enough I started making a game on Rm2k yesterday, I have plenty of downloads etc so if anyone wants any just get in contact with me.

2003’s battle system is kinda off… usually it’s just better to make your own battle system rather than use 2003’s… you hit the guy before you swing your sword! 😀

Does anyone know where I could download RPG Maker 2003? I’d like to give it a try.

I’ve been looking for it. But I got it off of E~mule (kinda like Kazaa) But its worth a try. Although I agree with ‘she don’t use jelly’… Its better to make uer own battle system. Whenever I find it, I’ll post the link.

Actually, it’s illegal to download RM2k3 or even RM2k… 🙁

i knew a side where you can download it but it�s gone of heared something of there where still bugs and so. just can give you a side where you�ll be able to download rpg maker 2000.
i made onec a rpg was nice but then my pc died and had to buy a new :/.
i always liked it but also thought it could be kind of complicat with the switches especialy if you like many nice details or actions that happen.
