my attacks won’t work! help!

[SIZE=3]i used some gameshark codes to get all abilities, but now for some reason, all the normal attacks i make(not fire or other special abilites) just increase the enemy’s hit points. i can get by with vivi’s fire and rusty’s special sword attacks, but it basically means garnet and zidane are useless becuasse they just mess it up. Is there anyway to change it back or to make the hits normal? i’m so confused, i’m used to the ff8 battle setting and ff9 is so different with mp and whatnot. PLEASE HELP! 🙁

First, I don’t think it is your codes that is messing up your attacks, because I have had the same problem without codes.

For instance, if you have Dagger’s cure staff or whatever equipped she will only cure the enemy… try changing your equipment… if that doesn’t work you may have to start over or just not attack with them.

I would try changing their weapons cuz i have had trouble with that too.

which weapons would be best for garnet and zidane?

the problem is that you have the healer ability equiped take that of and every thing is fine

could you explain in depth how to do this?

lol its quite simple

go to the menu then to ability where you can equip blue stones in to abilities and dejunction the healer ability because that makes your characters heal when they attack.

unfortunately if i remeber rightly when u use cheats it gives you every ability and automatically equips every ability possible and it is impossible to take them off which is bad because it means your stuck eith the healer ability for the rest of the game unless you decide to start again and actually complete the game without the use of cheats

tbh cheating = sucks, it takes out all of the fun, you don’t have any chance of loosing so I’d never do it and recomend you try not cheating. Second turn the moogle help on it’s not great but it helps. Finally turn everything on and off and see what works
