I am really enjoying what Takeharu has done so far with Crisis Core, a lot of the piano work and even some of the heavier stuff, it all sounds great.
Does anybody else agree or have any thoughts?

I hated the heavy-metal riffs during battles; only certain songs on this soundtrack stood out.

Same. Hate the metal battle themes etc. Liked the arrangements of uematsu’s music and area themes. Loved the acoustic sounding tracks.

the metal-style riffs and such were ok at first but wound my nerves down after a while. in the end i liked it. FF7’s soundtrack is still my second favorite off all time right after SoE for the SNES

Like the Remixes of FFVII/LO tracks, and a couple of others…But hate a lot of them…the nibelhiem music track sounds even creepier
