Murder by Death – Main Theme

My second post: The main theme by Dave Grusin of the 1976 film MURDER BY DEATH. Ripped from the film, a mix from the begining and the end themes, meaning, just music with no special effect sounds. I take that back…there is a slight closing trunk sound effect at the end. Enjoy

Great theme! To me, the movie is a slightly quirkier take on the murder mystery dinner plot than say Clue. The two together make for a great night of movie watching. I was fortunate to perform on a concert accompanying Mr. Grusin in Miami (I played in the orchestra). He’s a musical treasure and it was fantastic getting to play some of his best works under his musical direction/conducting. My personal fave was Fratelli Chase from The Goonies 🙂
