MUD Recomendations

I was curious if any one could recommend any good MUD games online, i am trying to get started on those types of game but have no idea which ones are good or bad. Free or cheap ones would be nice i am poor.thanks.

I can’t remember what MUD stand for, multi-something or other, but anyway, a few years back I used to play Discworld MUD, just type that into Google and it should bring it up for you. Anyway, its a very good MUD, pretty big, and man, many things to do in it.

MMORPG type things?

Kind of, but its solely made up of text.

They are all right but I’ve never been very good at them… Usually get stuck with a command…

Yeah, i much prefer MMORPG’s now that i know what you’re talking about. The whole text thing just doesn’t ‘excite’ me in anyway.

MUD means Multi-user Dungeon. The only MUD I ever really played and liked is Xyllomer (http://www.xyllomer.de/). It’s pretty large and well programmed.
