Of all the soundtracks I’ve found on FFS, this is easily the rarest and personally most rewarding of the bunch. Jerry Lewis can do no wrong in my eyes. I love this movie. I know it’s awful, but it’s marvelous. I’ll put the Dunkin’ Donuts scene up against Chaplin and Keaton’s best. They say there’s a longer European cut, but nothing can add coherency to what isn’t there. The only thing more pleasing would have been a copy of The Day the Clown Cried, but that would take a miracle, along with Mr. Lewis’ personal dispensation. You made my year, vivoensanse. Thanks!
