Moomba!

What do you think about Laguna’s small apprentices? I thought they were pretty cute. Is this the only Final Fantasy game they appear in?

Oh, I so loved the moombas. I think Square-Enix was hoping for another mascot, but it didn’t work out. I think one of Lulu’s dolls is a moomba, but that’s about it.

Yeah, it did kind of fail didn’t it? I love the Moombas, but yet, I still can’t imagine them in a game like Final Fantasy IX or any other Final Fantasy game for that matter. Perhaps in Final Fantasy X.

I honestly like the moombas better that the Moogles. Moombas seemed more….masculine.

While I thought Moombas were pretty neat–one of FFVIII’s few bright spots–Moogles > Moobmas, easily.

I thought they would taste good with some mustard, but I am not too sure Laguna thought the same.

I think if you could use their help in battle (without that chocobo world add-on, of course) it would’ve been an improvement.

I really think if they could fly, it would’ve been COOL

I learnt their real name today.
I thought they were called ‘simbas’
I cried when simbas dad died.

Also: Yes put them in more FF games.

In Esthar? It lived. It was on a safety rope/cable and came back up.

Still, I’m sure it was a nasty shock though.

I liked the Moombas, and I wish they appeared in other Final Fantasy games. I think they look good.

I also wish that I could have learned the Moomba summon, but didnt ahve a PocketStation :-(.

:-O I didnt know that. i was gonna get it for PC when it first came out, but our PC wast that great. Oh well. Its not a major thing.

I thought they were very calming creatures, and I loved Laguna’s side-story with them.

Plus they look very feline…and I love cats 🙂

(Moombas are great though ;))
