This is someone I found on Livejournal through an art community. She had done some neat photography/paintings and I decided to add her (this was quite a while ago). She eventually started posting little free form piano song and I absolutely loved them, she eventually made this album and you can hear a few of the songs/buy the album here:

She definitly has a different sound, but I like it a lot… I;m a big fan of piano music and she does it in a very interesting way with how her vocals and the music come together. It’s pretty nice I think..

i didnt like her photography but her paintings were nice.

as for her music, i only listened to "tide" and it was actually pretty good, nothing i would pick up for more than a couple of bucks though because i dont normally buy that sort of music (soundtrack music, imho), but if someone gave it to me i would wear it out. if that makes sense. it seems like a great thing to listen to on a rainy day or when taking a candle-lit bubblebath.

Yeah. I usualy only listen to it when I’m in the mood for it or when I need to relax or sleep or something. A lot of the music I’m listening to at anyone one moment usualy depends on my mood or what I’m feeling like listening to at the time.. so I have a lot of stuff most people wouldn’t listen to for 5 seconds much less a whole album worth, but I just get in the mood for it sometimes.

Miranda isn’t really like that tho, I could actually listen to at pretty much at any given time and still like it. I just like her whole sound… it sounds like her music is coming out of an old record or something. It’s definitly pretty unique. She used to record stuff over the phone (using phonepost on livejournal) and it only added to the effect, it was really nice.

I listened to all of the songs listed now and I think they all sound the same. I still like it, but its like one long continuous thing. =/
