Meteor Trick, Cheating or not?

Well what do people think about it?
Is the incredibaly powerfull meteor trick a fair choice or should it be classed as cheating and not fair play?

Personaly i use it, but i’ve heard people say that it takes unfair advantage of the junction and limit system, and is therefore cheating. So what do you all think?

For those who dont know about it, the meteor trick is a customised version of Rinoa’s Angelo Wing limit break, allowing her to do up to 80,000 damage in a single strike, which when coupled with auto haste proves to be (i think) slightly less powerful but more accurate than the lionheart from Squall.

I think it’s lame, takes forever, and isn’t cheating just because it’s so boring. I never used it.

Yeah, I just heard about it just through reading this thread (although, I’ve read FAQ’s around this idea so I have a pretty good concept on how it all plays out). I think it’s sort of cheating, but it’s fair in the sense that Rinoa wouldn’t be able to junction much to anything.

Just junction Meteor and only Meteor Rinoa and she’ll cast nothing but when using Angel Wing.

oooooooooooooh… so it is a waste of time. I’ll vote fair play, but it sounds like stupid play.

I never used it (or Rinoa, really). I don’t think it’s cheating, though.

..Sounds lame. If you had to resort to using this when playing the game, it probably means you should just go and actually train your characters. Its like just summoning Eden over and over all the time; where’s the point?

You could take that same time you wasted with this and trying to think of clever ways to beat the system, and actually enjoy the subtle points of the junction system and the game instead.

Its not cheating in the respect that youre not fucking around with the game, and you are working within the system; but it wasnt that hard to beat that you needed to resort to such things.

Would it not work if you Junctioned any one magic only to Rinoa then? =/

Best to use Lionheart, Wishing Star and Zell’s limits if you want power. Actually, a lot of limits can do more than that meteor trick if you’re strong enough, so there’s no point wasting magic.

I dont think its cheating if you find out about it on your own its just another thing that many people wouldnt do but it is a bit boring and easy

Yeah. If you junciton only Holy, then she will only use Holy during Angel Wing. However, Metoer is better because it’s a mutli-hit attack.
