Justin Burnett, one of the composers for Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain, has posted tracks that were missing in the original sountrack.

Unfortunatelly the quality is poor (128 kb/s – 48000 Hz) cause is the only one available in his portfolio.

Just converted to WAV and MP3 from SoundCloud.
You can just put that link in your first post, if you want.

Will do. I just need to check original bitrate. Thx.

So, let me get this straight:

– One of you took the files from the composer’s SoundCloud (which were originally encoded@128 kbps);
– Converted those to WAV, then MP3 (320 kbps);

In case that’s what happened, the 320 kbps files actually sound worse than the 128 kbps which were originally provided.

1) To take a lossy file and convert it into a lossless one is "futile", in a sense: you won’t ever restore the data which has already been lost

2) Converting a lossy file into another lossy format is even worse, because you’re only further degrading its quality (lossy implies data gets discarded with the encoding-process used)

In case I’m right, the 320 encode is uselessly big and sounds worse.

At any rate, thanks for the share, Yumeidy and Snake FoxDie.

Yes Sr. That was my prerogative when I ask from where that version was. That’s why I only shared the original (128 kbps).
