Metal Gear Solid 1 (PS1) cutscene music, why has it never surfaced?

I am amazed that after all those MGS gamerips out there no one tried to rip the original MGS on PS1. The official soundtrack album ommited all of the cutscene music composed by Gigi Meroni which included original music as well as really nice arrangements of "Enclosure" and "The Best Is Yet To Come". Has anyone here ever come across it or, even better, does anyone here actually have it and would he be willing to upload it?

I wish I could find it as well. I recently hit a breakthrough in hacking the game files and can access all of the individual files (including dialogue). Unfortunately, all of the cutscene music is in single audio files (All of the voices, sound effects, etc are already part of the file.)

However, i had an interesting idea regarding extracting it… if one has both the english and the japanese versions of the audio, then couldn’t we find a way to get the common denominator (ie, removing the voices?). I’ve been looking for ways to do this but so far it’s been not looking good. Any thoughts?
