I don’t know if this is the right section, so sorry if it’s not. . I need help. My PS2 memory card is giving me trouble. It works fine (I can save and load games, no problem) but when I use the Ps2’s internal browser to view the files stored in the MC, that’s where the problem is. The files are loading and eventually it reaches one where it stops. Completely freezes. Always in the same spot. It’s pretty obvious that that file is corrupted. I’d erase it using the game but I can never see the icon representing the game. It freezes before it appears.
I can’t go around trying every single game I saved with that MC and erase the file (some games won’t let you erase the saves anyway) so I was wondering if there’s a way to completely erase the MC without having to check the files? Man, this is killing me.
If you have any ideas that could help me in any way, thanks.

I’m not sure if this works with PS2 or not, but it did with PSX. I’ll tell you how it works.
If you put your memory card into slot one, and turn your PS2 console on, you can reset your PS2 and if you pull your memory card out at the exact same time you reset it, the data should be deleted. That works for regular PSX. So I’d give it a shot if you’re serious about deleting everything from it. :p
