Okay, so I finally got Anthology and I’ve noticed the Memo feature – that lets you save your game really quickly. Good feature? Bad feature? After reading up on this in the manual – I found out that this works with a Soft Reset, so I think I might start using it more often. Anyone here ever really use this?
Oh – and any particular reason why something like this wasn’t included in the later games?

i used it often. but imo it’s not that needy feature.

Yes, I liked using this one too. I had to get used to it at first, but after I did it was great using it. 🙂
Don’t forget to make a real safe, before you shut off the game. 😉
I don’t know, why they don’t have it in the other games. I’d love it, it’s cool. As far as I remember, they had that in Vandal Hearts 1 too.

I’ve played the early FF games on computer with an emulator. So I’ve always used the quick save feature. It kind of ruins some games such as Mario where you end up saving every 3rd second.
But I think it’s good!

Yeah, I learned that one the hard way. I’m just grateful that I only lost about an hour’s worth of data and a fair amount of that time was spent screwing around lost.
