Mega had to survive without a credit card payment processor for almost 2 years now. The air is getting thin. Backup your Mega files asap.

Kim Dotcom has had no input in MEGA for years, the fuck’s he saying. It’s simply not true.

$17/mo for unlimited storage on Dropbox. I love Dropbox. I only use Mega for its ease of Sharing and Dropbox for backing up everything. Could do $12/mo for 1TB on DB but I am about to exceed that limit. I might need to cancel some other subscriptions…. I’ve got about $200/mo in monthly subs. As for MEGA. You can never be too careful with these things. Always be prepared for the worst case scenario, even if these threats seem like a grain of salt.

I guess you’re right, I’m more worried about losing my own HDD which can happen anytime in the future without me knowing, than MEGA going downhill though another MEGApocalipse would be a horrible thing, really, lots of good uploads gone to hell and completely lost forever.
