For the last two days, I’ve been having trouble getting MEGA’s website to respond. It doesn’t give me a timeout, it seems to (sort of) answer my browser, but then it just doesn’t do anything to indicate it’s trying to load my account into my browser. Any suggestions? Is anybody else having similar problems with them?

OK, I figured it out. It was something to do with their Firefox browser extension. I don’t know if I had an out-of-date version of it or what, but as soon as I uninstalled the extension, everything straightened out. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42753709/Photobucket/thumb.gif

Yup, I had the same problem, and extension deleting made it work again. Thanks for the info, bobtheknob!

Weird. Things are working fine on my end and I have the Firefox MEGA add-on enabled, maybe they fixed the problem.

Weird. Things are working fine on my end and I have the Firefox MEGA add-on enabled, maybe they fixed the problem.I’m not sure what the deal was. It might’ve also been something about my login info stored locally in the add-on. I re-installed it (the latest version, of course) after I successfully logged in, and everything is working perfectly now. So based on that, I have to figure it was something on my end.

Could have been an error in updating, a corrupt preference file, or Mega was undergoing maintenance of some kind. I’ve experienced the same before. The most recent occurrence required reinstalling MegaSync. The issue was resolved.
