Funny how we have no qualms about ripping and sharing official first party music, but when an indie group licenses something it’s suddenly OFF LIMITS to share. Yay for double standards.

well i think it has to with "ripping off the big guys is ok" because it’s perceived and generally "given" that they can take the hit (even tho it’s still depriving them of paid purchase). The indie guys can’t – they need the support so they can continue to produce more music and get bigger and better, and then you can rip them off. =p *sarcasm*
