Marcus and Blank (Wild, Far Out Theory)

Okay, here’s something interesting. It’s probably not true, but just hear me out. Earlier today (okay, earlier yesterday, actually, since it’s 1 in the morning now) I was studying for a test in an Accounting class I have at college. As I was reading, I came across a sidebar piece about the founders of Home Depot and how they got fired from their original job, then decided to found the Home Depot and got rich. As I was reading it, I was struck by their names: Bernard Marcus and Arthur Blank. Marcus & Blank. Yeah, I know, it probably doesn’t mean anything, considering that it’s a game that came over from Japan and Cinna’s the one with the hammer. But who knows? Perhaps it’s possible that the translation team was paying some sort of tribute. Ya’ never know.

I�ve no idea if it IS true, but just because this is a Japanese game does not mean it CANNOT be true. Remember Biggs and Wedge? They were inspired from Star Wars alright.
So, interesting idea there.
Cinna, by the way, could be from Shakespeare�s Julius Ceasar. There also seems to be some Marcus in that play…

it seems that squaresoft gets the ideas from shakespeare…
and another one to add to the list is Beatrice…
i know it isnt spelled the right way but you get the idea… a little variation is needed… so yea…. :rolleyes:

Beatrice is from Much Ado About Nothing, which I very highly recommend, it�s awesome stuff~
But I see no real ressemblence between Beatrix and Beatrice, just the name, and this is a common name. *shrugs and walks off*

if youve read julius caesar… youll see that the women have no power… but when you read much ado about nothing… you see that beatrice has tons of power compared to those in julius caesar… so i guess you can compare beatrice to beatrix and i do see the point that maybe the personality and stuff arent the same… but yea…. if you look at the other people… they arent the same either :rolleyes:
