In my opinion the Lunar series is one of the best ever made (excluding FF of course :D) anyway, I just want to see if there are any other lunar fans here

I loved the first Lunar. I’m stuck on the second one though, and in trouble because I have hardly any MP recovery items, I’m in the Blue Dragon’s cave, and fighting the last real boss (the white demon in the White Dragon cave). I like the amount of comedy in both games.

A little word of advice to those still playing it… at the very end when you are suposed to go save Lucia from Zophar don’t even go NEAR where zophar is before powering up.. A LOT. He’s tougher than hell and once you are by him it won’t let you out so get yourself all mighty. It’s worth it.

When you beat the game finish watching the credits and it has a title that says epilogue. Click it and you can continue the game and get the real ending 😀 enjoy
And at the VERY end… after the epilogue you get bloopers after a LONG, BORING Credits rolling!

Lunar SSSC And EB are two of my most favorite games. Right up there with Tales of Destiny 2. The anime style is a real treat when the FF series is way overplayed. I like them both. I especially like the ‘Going Blind’ Innuendo on Lunar 1. When the lights go out, you know what im talking about if youve beaten it. Anyways…

Check this out on Lunar 2:

If you have a Gameshark, Pro Action Replay, Or a playstation audio ripping program, pop in your lunar 2 disk 2 and access the W.XA1 audio track and play track 000F.

MUAHAHAHA!!!

(No, it wont mess anything up.)

I am a big fan of WORKING DESIGNS because of 2 great games that they made on the SeGa SaTuRn
DRAGON FORCE & IRON STORM

I’ve never played Lunar but hope that when I play it it is as great as the games I just mentioned

I might get Arc the Lad , just because it is a Working Desighns game. Lunar did not look so great in the Ads. The Extra’s looked nice though.

Is the Lunar games for Sega CD any good. I have noticed there extreamly pricey to buy. I know I got ahold of shineing Force CD and absolutely hated that game. The battle system was soooooooooooooo long and boreing I quit at the first battle. Glad I didnt’ pay for it or Id be mad.

I love Lunar. I have played and beaten SSSC, Eternal Blue Complete, and Silver Star Harmony.

I am currently playing Magic School Lunar, Dragon Song, and Lunar Legend.

In my opinion, Silver Star Story is the better game in the series, but I do love Eternal Blue’s story a lot too.

SSH is fun too, I mean it is just a reboot of SSSC, but I think the added story elements and updated soundtrack is amazing. Plus, Alex talks more in the game. I like that better,

Lunar Legend for those that have not played it, is just a port of SSSC for the GBA. A lot of people will not enjoy it if they played SSSC. But do far I think it is a nice, fun port for the GBA. I just do not like the random battles.

Now Dragon Song is… Well it is Dragon Song. I find it hard to enjoy at times, but sometimes it is a nice, cute game with a good story. I HATE that you cannot choose who you are attacking and I do not like that experience and money are separated in battle, poor decision in the development. Also the fact that running drains your HP is annoying.

But if you can look over those features, it is an enjoyable experience.

As for my opinion with the Lunar series versus the Final Fantasy series, I would have to say I love Lunar better, the music, characters, and stories of the games seemed to fit well better than any Final Fantasy game I have played (maybe IX is an exception, that is my favorite story in a FFX game, the music was the best in the series, and the characters were all lovable).

I hope one day they do make a Lunar 3, but I am not going to hold my breath.

As it stands, I can always re-enjoy the adventures of Alex, Nall, Luna, Hiro, Lucia, and Ruby any day.[COLOR="Silver"]

Get the playstation versions, the Playstation versions are updated, polished versions of the Sega CD games, they are the same story but without all the prettiness.
