When playing FF 9, what do you guys listen to, to get you in the mood. Nice the music is, it can be terribly annoying when you are trying to level up. Also can you tell me if you can buy the running shoes to give you auto-haste. Cheers dudes:alien:

The only other music I listen to while playing FFIX, is other FFIX music. 😀 I can’t listen to much else while playing video games….except with the exception of snowboarding games, where I’ll turn on metal…lots of metal..

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I only ever listen to the FF9 music when I play FF9. Same with all other games I play, I only listen to the music in the game. But I rarely listen to music normally anyway, so that’s about the only time I hear music anyway. 😉

I used to listen to music while playing all games. That was until I realized that I was missing so much great music that was part of the game. The only games that I listen to music with are the ones with bad music that don’t have any important background sounds. Like in first-person shooters, you gotta hear to se if someone’s sneaking up on you. But on, like, Tony Hawk (even though that has some good music) and the like, I listen to my own music.
I don’t think that I ever listened to any other music while playing FF9, though.

it gets really annoying listeneing to the battle music and the world too….in battles i mute my tv and put in some good fight music like celion dion or bryan adams….hah no… it was a joke…. i also put in other ff music, or if im in the mood i listen to rock…..the coolest music to listen to in battle is your not alone….or dbz’s cell theme (remixed):D

When I’m in a story part, I play the normal music, but when I’m leveling up or playing the card game, I mute the tv and put on the radio. Or a CD if there’s nothing on the radio.

I had a mate in halls who used to come round and sit there whilst I played Final Fantasy IX (this was during his more sober periods.) Talking to him during battles helped me forget about the battle music being repetitive. As things stand, I don’t normally put on any different music during game playing.
