what are the things i need to be able to upgrade squall’s weapon to lionheart and where can i find these materials?

LION HEART:

Of all gun blades (a sword-gun weapon), the finest model is Lion Heart.
It requires rare items to be remodeled to its highest quality.

Items needed for remodeling:

Adamantine = 1

Dragon Fang = 4

Pulse Ammo = 12

Where to find:

Adamantine (Long horn island some where north west)- defeat Adamantoise
or Change Minotaur card into item.

Dragon Fang (Island closest to hell and Shumi tribe area)- From Blue Dragon
w/RARE ITEM ability receive as a battle prize or w/LVL DOWN ability from
Tonberry Level him down between 1-10 and receive it as a battle prize.

Pulse Ammo (Lunatic Pandora)- Elnoyle w/LVL UP ability from Tonberry level him
up 50 to 60 and receive it as a prize w/RARE ITEM ability receive Energy Crystal
and then change it to a 12 Pulse Ammo, or change Lazer Cannon 5
Pulse Ammo/Power Generator 20 Pulse Ammo.

Interesting limit break information:

Of Squall’s 4 finishing moves, he has 25% chance of using any one of them.
If he hasn’t learned the move, but it was chosen, he uses the highest one he is able to do.

So, when you have lionheart weapon, you have 1/4 chance of finishing with lionheart.

Rinoa, however, has a limit break based on Crisis Level. Crisis Level depends on the level of the character, the remaining hp, any negative buffs placed on the character, etc.

The higher crisis level Rinoa is at, the more likely she’ll use the more powerful limitbreaks (i.e. invincible moon and wishing star)

Rinoa’s "Angel Wing" limit break (after you rescue her from Lunar Base) is highly exploitable. Just let her stock curative magic (for stats) and give her one meteor spell. Good god, it’s awesome.

To answer your question, Ngrplz, you do not need to have any of the magazines to upgrade any of the weapons. As long as you have the parts, you will have that option in the weapon shops.

Similarly, you do not need any of the Combat Kings to execute Zell’s special moves. You simply need to know when to press the appropriate buttons.

Also make sure Squall isn’t mad at Rinoa or the Lionheart will attack her sometimes.
