Has the option to like posts vanished? I cannot like posts anymore. Anybody know why?

I want it too but let’s be realistic, if it were to return it would have to be a safeguarded equivalent since the previous like system was fragile enough to be exploited by hackers.

Now the question is… When?

To make long story short, the like system that we had since the forum’s inception possessed an unfortunately overlooked security hole that was used by an unknown hacker 2 months ago to breach the forums and access private vital information from every member.

Hence the Jessie’s warning for everyone to change their passwords and the likes being disabled.

Well OK, I just wish we had never been hacked.

I wish the like system came back as well. Liking a post was a simple way of saying you agreed with something, or showing someone support. Liking didn’t require a quote or a post. It was just so much easier. But whatever, it’s gone.

Well… just because I used the system doesn’t mean I care that it’s gone. :p

People just use the "reputation comment" thing now. I’ve been getting a million of those things lately. I don’t mind it since some people actually say stuff like thanks or whatever but most just leave it blank so it’s not that different from an like when you think about it. It’s just that it doesn’t show up to anyone but you.
