I’m trying to capture this guy in Thunder Plains, "Qactuar" but I walked through this place 2 times and never ran into this Fiend.. Does anyone know where to walk to run into it?

To run into the cactaur you must activate some of the cactaur stones at first. You will find them on the left or the right side of the thunder planes. Go there, when you see them shining, press the button (it’s the quarter butten I think).

The more you activate, the more cactaurs will show up in this area. 😉

How many do I need to activate?

at least three i think but im not sure

Ok.. but when they shine I click ‘X’ and it says something like ‘A strange Stone’ and nothing happens… I walked through the whole thing again and 4+ go on and off.. like it shines then it dosen’t then it does, etc..

I told you before, when the stone starts glowing you need to push the quarter (square) button. If you push the x, he keeps saying "A strange stone".

I think you can activate 4. That’s it. Even if there are more stones, you can’t activate all of them. But 3 or 4 are enough.

Press SQUARE when the stones glow. There is a book in the Travel Angency that talks about it. It should be on the left hand side of the counter.

He’s very rare. And if you want to capture them for the monster arena, you will have problems, if you don’t activate the stones.

Fighting the cactaurs in the desert gives you good EXP points! Best place for leveling up….. 😉

I activated 2 stone things pressing square, in which the book in the inn place said. I then thought a few of those cactus like creatures lol. They are quite dodgy lol, and move funny lol, and also do a lot of flips lol. =)

you have to activate 3 stones and then go to the bottom screen and then follow the wee ghost of cactuar over to the ruined tower and he will and press square and you get the spirit lance i dont think you can fight him there can you?

it is best if u have the stratagy guid and i completed it.
