I recent got this game for 10 bucks at the local k-mart. I have played it a little and just got 1 thing to ask. WHAT THE HECK IS THE POINT!

I have played it about 2 hours and so far all I have done is walk into town, get some quest, complete it and get a new artifact which lets me start another quest? I can’t quite figure out what is supposed to be done, I mean what is the point in placing artifacts yourself or is there any??

It looks like it might be a fun game if I could figure it out :eye:

Placing arfifacts on the world map is how you create your world. If you don’t place any you won’t get any new places to go to. The point of the game is to do what could at first glance seem like small sidequests, but is really small pieces of an adventure to save the Mana tree. So try to talk to the people you see in towns caves etc. and you’ll get into new quests leading you to aquire new AF’s and before you know it you’ve beaten the game. I know that the story might not be so very interesting the first time through, but if you try to do all the 63, or so, quests you’ll find that there is is much more to the game than meets the eye.

Yeah, like the cool Jumi quest and the Nicollo one.
