I’ve never actually played the game but I’ve heard some people say it’s good.
So, is it really worth a purchase? Give me your opinion.

Ask Prak, he is apparently a big fan of the game. Odin too.

Very high recommendation for the series as a whole. Blood Omen is absurdly long and does get a bit repetitive, but it’s one of the very few games I would recommend playing through anyway just to see the story unfold. Both of the Soul Reaver games are more fun since they introduce platforming elements. Blood Omen 2 is just as good as the Soul Reaver games, but the plot is confusing until you play Defiance, which completely blew me away.

The Legacy of Kain series is worth it’s weight in fine, high quality gold.
That said, buy the entire series so that you can enjoy the full story.

Meh, it’s okay. The only real problems I have with it is that the series is puzzle-heavy and that fighting is almost completely pointless when you have enough health to get through an area. After a while, getting bogged down fighting enemies gets really boring, and I end up just running past them.
