Thanks for the upload.

FYI, most of this claims to be LAME 3.90 -V0, though there’s some 128 kbps CBR in there as well. I think the VBR -V0 is actually transcoded up from 128 kbps though, as (1) it doesn’t sound very good, (2) bitrate was suspiciously low like 160 kbps average, and (3) I checked a few tracks and didn’t see frequency content above around 16 kHz.

I think I will stick with the assorted gamerips from various L2 versions, instead.

I never claimed to rip it, i just uploaded it, besides, if i had a better quality rip i’d have uploaded that.

This was requested, and as it’s hard to find this version’s game music (not sure which it is), i’d rather have it than not have it at all.

Sorry if that came off wrong. I was just trying to provide more info about the download to anybody else who comes by the thread. I believe the album should be:
TYCY-5403 | Langrisser II Original Game Music – VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/2517)

based on the original Sega MegaDrive version. I think more English-speaking players are more familiar with the Super Famicom (SNES) expanded remake, Der Langrisser, because of the fan translation patch for that version. There are also PC, PSX, and SAT versions.

Well, i did find a better version, (better being relative, 173kbps), which i’ll probably switch this one’s link out for as it definitely has better sound quality.

My apologies if i sounded rude myself, might have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.

Updated the OP.
