Yes, for a 1991 film. The Japanese title is: リトル・シンドバッド 小さな冒険者たち. Other than its Saudi Arabian funding and seafaring/desert theme, I cannot tell you if the film is any good. It was only released on VHS in Japan, never brought back to DVD.
