Kirby Anime?!?!

Yes it’s true. The little pink ball mostly know for being a punching bag in Super Smash Bros. Melee is getting his own show.

Announced today, The Kirby anime has started in Japan, and announced for America: Nintendo and 4 Kids Entertainment announced today that they are in the works with an animated television series featuring mascot hero Kirby, which will broadcast Saturday mornings in the US on Fox Kids. The show’s first episode will debut on September 14 of this year.

Kirby, a character that has starred in 15 Nintendo branded games including the recent GameCube hit Super Smash Bros. Melee, will remain unchanged for his new television career. The series, called Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, will focus on the character’s ability to acquire his foe’s powers and abilities. In the cartoons, Kirby will be able to transform into Fire Kirby, Sword Kirby and Block Kirby, among other different variations of himself.

I find Kirby the strongest charakter in Super Smash Bros…with him I can win against level 9 oponents.

Well, if it’s all kiddy, I won’t watch it. If it’s related to the games, maybe.

they’ll make anythign with cute little monsters an anime now ever since pokemon and crap. this would the be the second attempt i’ve seen where an anime is created just for that purpose.

to attrackt mindless kids with cute monsters. the first one i saw was the chrono trigger anime. it was pathetic! the show started the nu’s and johnny and all those other little monsters in ct.

poor kirby. he is much better than some stupid cute little monster! i bet the show will revolve around kirby trying to FIND ALL OF THE SPECIAL POWERS HE CAN ABSORB! another pokemon. fuck. this will be gay for sure.:mad:
