Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded (Collbarative OST)

Hey guys,

I found the ROM for the Re:coded but am not smart enough to rip music from a Nintendo DS ROM. I know how to do a few of them with VGMTrans but that doesn’t cover all the songs. If someone could please help (or call for someone who knows how to do this) that would be awesome!

As far as i know it’s aginst the rules to post ROMs
Oh and also a good 95% of the soundtrack is recycled from Days, I don’t think a massive scale Collabrative rip is nessecery to rip a handful of tracks =P

Yeah, but nobody really cares about the ROM for a Cell phone game. PS3 game? Probably. N64 game? Doubtful. Phone game? Who gives a shit?

That said, No idea how to rip these.

For future reference, people who can rip 2SFs are likely going to have an easier time finding the rom than you may think.
On another note, bxaimc just ripped the 2SFs, I’m mirroring them to mediafire right now, will update this post when it’s done.

If you don’t know how to play them, I suggest looking here (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/2sf/vio2sf.html) for help.
Also note that you need VGMStream (http://hcs64.com/vgmstream.html) to play the streamed music.

VGMTrans does NOT rip 2SFs. It can help convert sound banks/listen to some music straight from the ROM itself but it doesn’t rip/save anything 2SF. VGMToolbox on the other hand is the best 2SF ripper out there (and probably the only one (other than the CaitSith2’s original ripkit that VGMT’s ripper is based off of) that can rip it with the new driver instead of the crappy Yoshi’s Island one that used Desmume save states with limited game support.)

The video game discussion forum has a topic on ripping wii game music. Some filetypes are shared across platforms by Nintendo, so if you’re in luck, there may be a way to extract the files properly.
