Yeah Neo waves music was alright I guess but the music that really interested me was, KOF XI’s Music selection.

Agreed, KOF XI had a nice soundtrack.

Yeah, I got both, and am I the only one who actually thinks the arranged version is WORSE than the original? The original is waaaayyyy better.

EDIT: And for the record, I rank the Neowave Arrange as the worst KoF Arrange. The best? I liked 98 (since it consisted of bits of 94-97).

i agree though i do like original better than arrange for neowave but i still wanted the arrange version of the Train hanger stage and the uh Shrine looking stage and that Garden like stage.

if you Silat or anyone can post those arranged three tracks, that would be awesome.

But just to let you know, and for everyone that care:

This is not the real official album "Consumer Version".
The version you are sharing is just a Game Rip, that have been floating around the net for ages.
I guess the real album have not been ripped yet.. (or at least available for public download/share)

To my knowledge, "consumer" versions are called s such to match the arrangment which had been ported to a console. I won’t deny that it’s similar to the console game, but since I can’t confirm if, can you provide a link or a shop page to clarify this confusion a little?

I have what is called the "consumer" version, but I also have the original (which are the exact same tracks which plays in the arcade), so I’d like to clear this up.

I am saying it’s a game rip since i had these tracks for more than a year.. These mp3s were ripped by Blaze, it’s an admin from the well-known website SNK-NeoGeo.com. The music was spread from his website, and he clearly stated it was a game rip.

I am not asking about the difference of music between arrange or original..

The "Consumer version" album mean the music comes from the PS2 game, and the music was Arranged for it.. that’s right consumer = arranged.
I am completly agree with that and i knew that from the beginning.

My question is simple, did you rip them yourself from the real cd (a real cd that you bought yourself, with blister, case, booklet, spine card…) ?

Not to mention.. i don’t know where did you got that "undewater original" since the track length does not match the "Real" album track length.

I downloaded both albums. I got the ‘original’ from #gamemp3s. The reason it does not match the real length is because I went ahead and modified the track already to creat a third loop instead of just a double. I did not rip anything.
For the record, I’ve only played the game in arcades, never tried the PS2 version so I can’t compare differences. But the ‘original’ seems to match the arcade version.
But I believe the ‘arranged’ version is from Blaze, so that’s why I went and assumed it was the ‘consumer’ version.

Arranged or consumer.. it’s the same thing.. and the album you upped is fine.

I was just stating this for anyone that care like me, i am more a collector than anything else.. and for me a game rip is different from the official release. That’s all. I wanted to point that out, no offence really.

And I know what you mean. I’m kind of a collector too, especially when it comes to Capcom and SNK fight music.
